The album has a collage of songs which keeps melody at its very core and made for the new age listeners in the highest audio output quality – this can be compared with any International album recording. Introduction of some instruments like Erhu, Peruvian Charango is experimented blending with some modern recording techniques. Album starts with the title track Rim Jhim whose music video is shot in New York, New Jersey is making the rounds on Internet. Rim Jhim is an ode to the nature blending the anticipation of a lover’s soul to meet her beloved – it uses synthesized rain drops and thunder as a critical element to the song. Joy and Amrita (video actors) romances the video. Amar Bhalo Lage takes you to the 70s (song was actually composed at that time). You can hear sea gulls of the Atlantic at the background while the waves softly lashes on your soul. Rich usage of Piano, Bass Guitar with a blend of acoustic guitar and tabla.
Chena Ki Ochena – pumps up the volume and hist the dance floor - a modern day pop song using African influence. Koto Deen Koto Raat is a modern age band song with high octave guitaring, it reflects the modern day boy and girl living apart with the dream of getting together again – enjoy the soul lifting usage of strings in the song. Shoptodoshi Ami – Anweshaa is seventeen now and so apt for the song – re-discover the 80s disco with this foot tapping number. Interesting voice modulation and pitch correction has been used as a recording technique. Shudhu Gaan – Bass guitar arrives with soft pads, a romantic number. The remix of Rim Jhim is an acoustic remix, a different dimension to listening. It highlights the usage of instruments and brings out the vocal range of Anweshaa. It uses Black Rap beats – remixed by Dan Skye, it is truly different.
