A short Review ...
“ Coming from a middle class Bengali Brahmin family, Tanima Thakur surprised the muscical world by her meteoric rise to fame before she was in her twenties she was an AIR artiste and during her muscical career she had over a dozen National programmes in AIR and Doordarshan in her cap. Gifted with a singularly melodious , fluty voice and a muscicality which grasped the audience in a second, she regaled the listeners till her 58th year when she unexpectedly left us, leaving a void in the music world which will be hard to file.”
