Shahdaab Bhartiya belongs to a great family of connoisseurs & patrons of Indian Classical music.His father Ustad Roshan Jamal Bhartiya is a 'A'grade artist of Sitar in All India Radio(AIR),presently working as a music lecturer in Colorado(Denuer)U.S.A.His grand father is the renowned maestro par ecellence Ustad Jamaluddin Bhartiya was the founder & Director General of the Academy in Holland called Tritantri Vidyapeeth.Shahdaab began his training under the tender age of six and was soon at the age of eleven became disciple of the great Tabla Wizard, Ustad Hidayat Khan Sahab of Delhi & Jaipur Gharana.Shahdaab is acknowledge as one of the most talented"percussionist". He acquired the Degree of Doctorate and M.A. in tabla from Musical Heritage of India,Mumbai. His performances are both in solo as well as an accompanist are marked for his excellence command over the instrument and mastery over intricate 'laya' patterns.He has accompanied and has worked with several artist like Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Ustad Gulam Mustafa Khan, Ustad Vilayat Khan Sahab, gazal samrat Gulam Ali, Pandit Brij Narayan, Kathak queen Sitara Devi, Ustad Sultan Khan, Ustad Rais Khan, Padamshri Hariharan, Pandit Anup Jalota. Pop singers like Apache Indian, Feroz Makhum, several music directors like Louiz Banks, George Brooks, Lenistern, Daniel Helfrich & many other international artist.Several Disc Jockey's like D.J.Joe Alverado, D.J.Pathaan, D.J. Lahosane, D.J.Akki Nawaz.Today Shahdaab Bhartiya is regarded as one of the top ranking artist in the country and has won many titles and awards.He has participated in many concerts under the sponsorship of several organization in India & abroad.
