Sangeet Piyasi is an organisation built on the ideals of Guru Krishna Kumar Ganguly (Natu Babu) whose objective was to promote and propagate rich heritage of Indian Classical Music by organising muscical conferences, teaching students and introducing young, talented artist before the listeners.

Instinct by Rimpa Siva
Rimpa Siva was born on 14 Jan. 1986 in a family of Musical Heritage. From the age of three Rimpa showed keen interest in playing the tabla instead of other play things. Since early childhood Rimpa has been taking lessons from her father and guru Prof. Swapan Siva, disciple of the late Ustad Keramatulla Khan of Farukhabad Gharana. She is a student of Rabindra Bharati University. She has proved her serself at several notable conferences in Kolkata and places in India and all over the world. She has obtained two scholarship from Saltlake Music Festival and West Bengal State Music Academy in 1995 and also Shanmukha Sangeet Siromoni award on 4th December 2004 in Mumbai. On 3rd September 1996 she was awarded a remarkable cash prize of Rs. 50000/- “Arun Land Rej Memorial” fund of Norway for her great performance.
