Prattyush Banerjee is a true twenty first century muisician who has been successfully multi tasking as a performer, music composer and arranger as well as an instrument designer . He is "taking sarod playing to the next level" and has also created his electronic version , Jyotidhwani . He was initiated to the art of sarode playing at a tender age of eight by his engineer father , Prasun Kumar Banerjee later he trained under Shri Samarendra Sikdar. Subseqently, for almost thirty years now, he has been under the coveted tutelage of the internationally celebrated maestro , Pandit Buddhadev Das Gupta.
