Now Mitali Sengupta is making her debutas recorded artist with "Benarasi Songs" with vintage flavour. As a daughter of late Sangitacharya Nutu Mukhopadhyay, from her very childhood Mitali was flambouyantly brewed with the flame and flavour of classical music. Later eventuality mader her as beloved and "Ganda-bandh" shishya of padmabhusan Smt. Girija Devi, the doyenne of Benaras Gharana of vocalists.
Mitali
has made her vocal performances in many prestigious conferences in different parts of the country. She was awarded with "Suromoni" title in 1989. She ia regular artist of AIR and Doordarshan.
