The Folk & Tribal Cultural Centre is an independent body of Information and Cultural Affairs Department,Govt of West Bengal
This centre is working for the publicity and conservation of traditional folk of West Bengal, for the past few years.This organization has taken the responsibility of presenting the different aspects of original Bengal Folk such as-
DORBESHI GAAN, LALONER GAAN, JHUMUR GAAN, BHAWAIYA & BAUL GAAN. The centre has planned to work in different media- Audio & Visual, for a better mileage of original Folk Songs also in the years to come.
