lniitially trained by Pt A. Kanan. she joined the ITC sangeet Research Academy . Kolkata in 1978 as a full time Scholar At SRA. under the guru-shshya parampara traditional Dalia Rahut received training in all of Benaras Gharana from its living legend Smt Ginja Devi - over a span of more than a decade Gifted with a finely tuned mellifluous golden voice. Daha excells in Thumi. Tbppa. Dadra. Kajn. Hoii, Chaiti, Bhajan etc with deft unfolding of the nuances of authentic Benaras Gharana.

She has enthroned the discermg audience throughout the country with her repertoirs in Hindusthani light classical music m various public performance. She is an AIR and Doordashan Artist.
