Sangeet Piyasi is an organisation built on the ideals of Guru Krishna Kumar Ganguly (Natu Babu) whose objective was to promote and propagate rich heritage of Indian Classical Music by organising muscical conferences, teaching students and introducing young, talented artist before the listeners.

Bijoyaditya Mukherjee, aged 20 is the son of world renowned Sitarist Sri Budhaditya Mukherjee and the grandson of Pt. Bimalendu Mukherjee, a doyen of the “Imdadkhani Gharana” of sitar.
His grooming in Sitar began at the tender age of five, by his illustrious grand father and presently continues vigourously with his renowned father. At the age of ten, Bijoyaditya was awarded the prestigious National Scholoarship by the Ministry of Human Resources, Govt. of India. for “Sitarwadan”. In Feb. 1996 at the age of eleven he made his debut performance at Kala Kunj (Kalamandir) Kolkata, astounding his unbelieving audience.
