Pt. Arun Bhaduri ranks among the brilliant set of musicians who rose to great heights of maturity. He manages to portray very soulful and moving pictures of ragas. Gifted with a deep sonorous and nimble voice with a brilliant range, his music is speed in emotion, with each phrase one feels a tug at heart. Being born in Murshidabad, West Bengal, he had the privilege of heing tutored by Ustad Md. Abu Daud of Kirana Gharana. After a series of learning from great sarangi player Ustad Md. Sagiruddin Khan, Late Ustad Istiaq Hussain Khan of Rampur Gharana, he got further encouragement from great guru Late Padmabhushan Jnan Prakash Ghosh, who not only taught him classical and light music, out also made him aware of the nuances in lyrics.
This album comprises of Raaga Megh, Raaga Hameer & Kajri (Dadra)- which proves that his foundation in classical music is sound. Pt. Arun Bhadhuri is accompanied on tabla by Tarak Saha & harmonium is played by Jyoti Goho.
